ABOUT ELIANNE
I didn't choose osteopathy so much as it found me.
I always knew I wanted to work with people at a deep level. To understand the body — really understand it — and to make the kind of difference that lasts. When my aunt first told me about osteopathy, something in me just knew. I went straight from school, gave it everything, and I haven't looked back.
What I didn't expect was how much this path would give back to me. It led me to my husband. It guided my own healing. And the more I do this work, the more I understand that I'm exactly where I'm supposed to be.
WHAT HAPPENS IN THE ROOM
This is not what I was expecting.
I had a patient this week who came in for lower back pain. She'd seen other osteopaths before, so she knew what to expect — or thought she did.
When I started working on her feet, she paused. She mentioned she'd been having foot pain for months but hadn't even thought to bring it up. By the end of the session she was learning to move her body in ways she'd never thought possible, feeling exactly the right areas respond, and she stopped mid-movement and said, “this is not what I was expecting.”
That moment is why I do this.
It's not always dramatic. Sometimes it's the shift in how someone talks about their pain. The reassurance they start giving themselves instead of bracing for the worst. A break in a pattern they've carried for years. People leave and start introducing these ideas to their partners, their children. One person choosing themselves differently changes the whole family.
That's what I mean when I say this goes beyond fixing. It's the start of a journey.

The Be Project was co-founded with my husband Sam, also a registered osteopath. Sam currently sees patients primarily at his clinic in Golders Green, working with a particular focus on men's health. He brings the same depth of approach, and is available at The Be Project for those who feel drawn to working with him.
We built this together. And we're building it still.
